RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) - Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on southbound Route 165, according to Constable Jermaine Phillips.

Phillips said crews transported one occupant from each vehicle to a medical center for treatment.

Southbound Route 165 is closed while first responders work at the scene for safety reasons, Phillips said.
