SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) -A death investigation in Springfield is underway after a body was found during Monday morning’s snowstorm.

According to Springfield Police, officers got the call at around 10 a.m. for a man in his 50s who was found dead outside the U.S. Bank Branch on East St. Louis Street.

Officers told KY3 that there are no signs of foul play. Investigators are still figuring out how long the body was there before being discovered, since the bank was closed over the long holiday weekend.

The body is now at the medical examiner’s office. More information will be provided as this story develops.
