The Santa Maria Philharmonic will host the Baroque Season Concert, an annual holiday favorite, on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Santa Maria.

The evening will feature Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances Suite No. 3, a collection of elegant courtly dances that will transport us to another era. Lauridsen's O Magnum Mysterium, a stunning contemporary sacred work that offers a reflective meditation on the Nativity, will also be performed by the orchestra.

The heart of the program, curated by Maestro Michael Nowak, is Vivaldi's beloved Four Seasons, showcasing the exceptional talents of violin soloist Brynn Albanese.
