NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Police Department needs help identifying a woman accused of spraying bear spray on officers during an incident on November 23.
Police said the battery of a law enforcement officer happened at Clouet Street and Higgins Boulevard, where the woman allegedly used bear spray on a group of people during an event. When officers intervened, she also sprayed them before running away on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a Black woman with blonde hair, a butterfly tattoo on her chest, and tattoos on her right thigh and on the left side of her neck and shoulder.
She is believed to be between 20 and 25 years old.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
