A Massachusetts-based electronics manufacturer is moving its operations out of the state early next year.
SynQor, which manufactures power converters for the military, industrial, transportation, telecom and medical industries, will be closing its Boxborough corporate headquarters and moving to Salem, New Hampshire, according to the Enterprise newspaper.
The company filed a Massachusetts Workers Adjustment Retraining Notice with the state on Nov. 25, saying 250 employees would be laid off from the Massachusetts facility between Feb. 1 and April 1, 2026.
All positions will be transferred to the new location, including the company’s president, chief financial officer, director of sales, and 86 production assemblers, according to the Enterprise. Employees will be given two months’ noti
