CLARKSVILLE, Ind. —
A Tennessee man is facing charges after police say he led them on a chase through southern Indiana Monday afternoon.
Indiana State Police received multiple calls around 1:30 p.m. about a Jeep driving erratically on Interstate 65 in Scott County.
When deputies caught up to the Jeep, they attempted a traffic stop, but the driver kept going. Police said the driver was weaving across lanes and nearly hit a guardrail.
After crossing over into Clark County, local departments were alerted about the Jeep. The Sellersburg Police Department deployed stop sticks, deflating multiple tires, but police said the driver did not stop.
Police executed a PIT maneuver near the seven mile-marker, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
