LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Tennessee man is behind bars after a police pursuit in southern Indiana.
According to Indiana State Police, the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday after dispatchers received calls of a Jeep driving erratically on I-65 South in Scott County.
ISP troopers responded to the location, spotting the vehicle near Henryville.
When troopers tried to make a traffic stop of the Jeep, they say the driver refused to yield, weaving across several lanes, traveling on the shoulder and nearly hitting the guardrail.
The Jeep’s driver, later identified as 22-year-old Wesley Phillips of Spencer, Tennessee, continued south, crossing lanes and driving on the shoulder.
