Contract details for ex-Yankees closer Devin Williams new deal with Mets

Devin Williams is going from the Bronx to Queens this offseason, as the former New York Yankees closer has reportedly agreed to a three-year deal with the New York Mets .

According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the deal guarantees the reliever more than $50 million . New York Post's Jon Heyman reported that the deal includes $15 million in salaries, a $6 million signing bonus and $5 million in annual deferrals.

He had an underwhelming season with the Yankees in 2025, blowing up multiple games and posting a 4.79 ERA in 67 appearances.
