Before the 2025-2026 NBA season started, fans and media alike were high on the LA Clippers’ chances to win it all. Even though Leonard missed some games and is on strict minutes restrictions, they hoped that their offseason additions could arguably fill in the gap as the season progresses.
Well, not much help from their new players, either. With a 5-15 record through 20 games, owner Steve Ballmer is becoming impatient. After all, he’s done everything to assemble a contender and even built them a new state-of-the-art arena. He expected an ‘A+’ grade performance from his beloved squad.
However, with the results becoming paltry with each passing week, Ballmer has now delivered a strong message to Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue and team basketball executive Lawrence Frank.
