LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Weather Impact Alert has been issued as we are tracking a winter weather system that will impact Kentucky and southern Indiana late Monday night into Tuesday morning.

With this system, all modes of precipitation are expected including some snow and ice.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Louisville has also issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of the region until Tuesday morning.

Travel impacts, especially on bridges and overpasses, should be expected tonight and Tuesday, as slick spots on the road are quite likely.
