GORDON, Ga. — Although her daughter was killed nearly a year ago, Katrinda Snead says she still starts her morning by greeting two large pictures of her in her living room.
"Sometimes I tell her I'd be like 'Hey girl, I love you. I love you,'" Snead said. "Like she knows, she knew."
Snead's daughter, 25-year-old Keishonna Todd, is everywhere in Snead's home, from Todd's necklaces and shoes, to the last outfit she ever wore.
Todd was shot and killed outside of a beauty salon in Milledgeville in December 2024. Snead says she was her youngest daughter, who had a showstopping smile.
"Just remember her smile. I can be sad, I can go through my phone and I can look at her picture and I just smile," Snead said.
