BOISE, Idaho — A 40-year-old Salmon man died Monday afternoon, after being involved in a rollover crash on State Highway 28 in Lemhi County.
Idaho State Police (ISP) said Monday the crash happened around 2:46 p.m. near milepost 76. Police said the man was driving a gray 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser eastbound on Highway 28 when it swerved to the left and crossed both lanes.
Police said the vehicle went up a slight embankment and overturned, coming to rest on its roof. The driver was wearing his seatbelt but died at the scene.
Idaho State Police is investigating the crash. The man's name has not been released.
