Hunters were happy for a light covering of snow Monday as Ohio deer gun season opened.
“Plenty of activity,” said Ohio Department of Natural Resources Game Warden Supervisor for Northeastern Ohio Scott Denamen. He said most hunters hit the woods early, shortly after sunrise, and were evident throughout the rural portions of Ashtabula County.
