HAPPY HOWLAND HOLIDAY: The Howland Library Branch, 9095 E. Market St., will host a “Happy Howland Holiday” 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The event will include festive musical performances by members of the Howland schools chamber choir under the direction of Mark Semrau. Santa Claus will arrive at 7 p.m. Children can make crafts throughout the evening. The Friends of the Howland Library will provide refreshments.

CHRISTMAS TOY COLLECTION: The Warren Family Mission is collecting toys for the Christmas distribution. The mission is looking for new, unwrapped Christmas toys or bikes for boys and girls ages up to 18. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 9. Drop off donations at 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren.
