The UK snow bomb has been brought forward to SATURDAY - with multiple counties in England set to be hammered. UK snow maps have turned white as we approach December 6, with flurries likely as far south as Manchester.

Wintry conditions and the white stuff is expected as far south as North West England, and even northern parts of the Midlands too .The mercury could also plunge to -1C in a few areas, according to WX Charts maps and charts.

The advanced modelling, based on the GFS system, shows Greater Manchester, Staffordshire , Lancashire, the West Midlands, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Durham, Northumberland and Lincolnshire face a dusting.
