On Tuesday at 12:45 a.m. the National Weather Service released a winter storm warning valid from 7 a.m. until Wednesday 1 a.m. for Fulton County.
"Total snow accumulations between 6 and 9 inches," can be expected according to the weather service. "Moderate to heavy snow will affect the evening commute today. Snowfall rates of 0.5' to 1' are expected. Caution is advised for all motorists."
"Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult to impossible. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes today," says the weather service. "If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency."
