CLEVELAND, Ohio - Browns coach Kevin Stefanski explained why he’s taking a week-to-week approach with Shedeur Sanders as his starting quarterback, naming him to start Sunday against the 1-11 Titans, but not beyond.
“I’m just dealing with our football team week to week, but I’m pleased with his progress,” Stefanski said on a video conference Monday. “He wants to continue to get better and better, and that’s the right attitude to have, and that’s why we’ll continue to work.”
Sanders went 16 of 25 for 149 yards in Sunday’s 26-8 loss to the 49ers, with one touchdown and no interceptions for a 93.6 rating.
