The New York Giants’ 33–15 loss to the New England Patriots came with off-field drama after linebacker Abdul Carter was benched for the entire first quarter.
Mike Kafkapened up on this decision, “It was just my decision to not play him.”
When asked how concerning a second benching in three weeks was, he added, “It’s unfortunate, but that’s the way we kind of work with it this week.”
Reports later confirmed Carter was sidelined for missing part of a team responsibility, prompting Giants legend Carl Banks to deliver a sharp message: “It’s time for the kid to grow up.”
This is a developing story..
