The Mekong River stretches through six countries, providing a vital source of food and income to Southeast Asia.
Mekong Plaza does something of the same for Mesa’s Asian District with its diverse restaurants and shops – Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese – that pull in foot traffic far and wide.
“This is a vibrant center of culture, community and commerce,” said Jaye O’Donnell at an event last week marking 12 new businesses at the plaza.
“This District continues to grow as a regional destination, and today marks another exciting milestone in that progress with the expansion of one of its cornerstone destinations, Mekong Plaza.”
So far Minso and Haidiloa are open for business.
