As they almost always do, at the Nov. 17 Scottsdale City Council meeting, Steve Sutton and Dan Ishac spoke during the public comments section.
The two – unofficially known as “The Barry Bashers” for their frequent criticisms of Councilman Barry Graham – are likely to speak out at a proposal that may be aimed at them.
Another frequent Graham cracker, Jason Alexander, proclaimed in an email he is “vigorously opposed to this attempt to squash residents' ability to communicate with their City Council.
“It is the antithesis of ‘resident friendly,’” Alexander concluded.
Ishac, for one, smells hypocrisy: “Candidates who claim ‘residents first’ and the importance of ‘listening to residents’ are the ones pushing these limitations.”
