Police said it was 'extremely frustrating' that motorists still got behind the wheel when over the limit as there was 'no excuse'.
West Mercia Police has seen 13 deaths on the roads over the last three years where alcohol has played a part, plus 132 serious injuries.
An additional 24 fatalities occurred due to crashes involving drugs.
Last December, the force arrested 186 people for being being the wheel while over the limit, and was keen to hammer home the 'devastating consequences for all those involved'.

The force stressed there was 'no fool-proof way of calculating how much you can drink and remain under the limit'.
Penalties for those caught drink-driving include a six-months stretch, unlimited
