Delta Health expanded operating hours for its pediatric arm and urgent care yesterday, Dec. 1., “to better meet the needs of our patients and community.”

According to a press release, the increased pediatric appointment availability and urgent care capacity are especially important as the cold and flu season ramps up.

With the start of December, Delta Health Urgent Care (296 Stafford Lane) will be open Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Prior to the expansion, Delta Health Urgent Care was open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and closed on weekends.

The press release added that locals receiving primary care from Delta Health also benefit from care continuity with their primary care physician.
