A man has been arrested following a knife attack at a Melbourne school. The headteacher was allegedly knifed by a fellow staff member at Keysborough Secondary College, reports suggest.

Victoria Police confirmed they responded to an assault at a Keysborough school around 3pm on Tuesday, December 2. The victim was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening stab wounds .

A man was seized at the scene as the school was reportedly placed under lockdown, reports the Mirror . Reports indicate the victim was the headteacher, with pupils told to duck under desks as the incident unfolded
