Lewis Barton ’s ( Bradley Riches ) arrival in Emmerdale brought a spark of joy to the village that has been infections amongst the villagers, and for one in particular.

It’s been a beautiful thing to see him and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) grow closer.

Recent months have seen Vinny’s life turn upside down when, while engaged to Gabby Thomas ( Rosie Bentham ), he began to question his sexuality.

This led him to attempt to seek answers online, which saw him meet a man called Mike, who lured in Vinny under the false pretence of having gone through the same thing, only to beat him and extort him for money.

Eventually, this came back to Gabby, and between the two of them the decided that this was a deal breaker and their marriage was off.
