CLEVELAND, Ohio — A winter storm now has its grip on Northeast Ohio, bringing with it the possibility of significant amounts of snow in a short period of time.
According to a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service, the heaviest snow is expected now through 9 a.m. today, with up to 5 inches falling during that time. The advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m.

The conditions were right for snow early Tuesday morning. Temperatures were in the upper 20s and winds were light at 4 a.m. at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Highs were expected to get into the low to mid-30s.
