Howard, which lost a 41-40 heartbreaker in overtime in the DIAA Class 2A semifinals, showed its strength when the All-Class 2A football team was released by the Delaware Interscholastic Football Coaches Association on Dec. 1.

The Wildcats earned 12 spots on the first team, which was determined by the combined voting of the head coaches of the state’s 18 Class 2A teams before the playoffs started.
