Judy Woodruff, whose career in journalism took her from local news to a job as a White House correspondent, will be the featured guest of WNIN's Winter Gala in January.
Woodruff will meet with gala attendees and do an interview session with former WEHT-ABC25 anchor Shelley Kirk at the gala, which is scheduled for Jan. 24 at Bally's Riverfront Center in Evansville. Ticket information is available through wnin.org .

Woodruff was anchor and managing editor for "PBS NewsHour" for 11 years before she left to launch "America at a Crossroads," which PBS officials describe as "a reporting project to better understand the country's political divide."
