Drivers are facing long delays on the M25 following a crash involving two cars and two lorries near Enfield. Two lanes are currently shut anticlockwise while emergency services respond to the incident.

As of 9.45am on Tuesday, December 2 queues are stretching back to junction 27, the M11. This is affecting drivers across Chingford, Epping and Cheshunt. Traffic monitoring site INRIX says vehicles were initially held in Holmesdale Tunnel at 8.20am before lanes three and four were reopened.

There are also delays on the M11 southbound this morning from Woodford back to Loughton although this appears to be unrelated to the M25 crash.

MyLondon has contacted Hertfordshire Police for more information.
