If there are still doubters in the New England Patriots, their ranks are surely diminishing week by week.
Drake Maye threw for 282 yards, two touchdowns and a 126.0 passer rating in a 33-15 victory over the New York Giants at Gillette Stadium on Monday night that gave the Patriots their 10th straight win and the NFL’s best record at 11-2.
The Giants have lost seven straight, and certainly had issues in the first half. Pass rusher Abdul Carter was benched for the entire first quarter for an undisclosed “coach’s decision,” and New York players scuffled with New England players after a hard but legal hit on Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart. Giants kicker Younghoe Koo also had a bizarre miss on a field-goal attempt.
