Ida is a town of about 5,000 people , but nearly eight times that many visit for the annual Christmas in Ida Festival and Parade of Lights . Last year, the events drew 38,000 people, said Dale Zorn, Christmas in Ida's executive director.

The 43nd annual Christmas in Ida Festival and Parade of Lights is Dec. 4-6 throughout Ida; however, one related event, Ida Public Schools' Christmas Collage Concert, is planned for Dec. 7. Here’s a guide to the 2025 festival.

What’s new for 2025?

"The World of Fast Remote-Controlled Model Vehicle," hosted by Nankin Hobby of Wyandotte, will be offered at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Ida Township Fire Hall parking lot on Lewis Avenue.
