A dog who arrived at the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home was 'starving and scared' after suffering wounds. Summer, a young black lurcher, was 'completely traumatised'.

She had a broken jaw and scars across her body. Summer had to wear a muzzle to keep her jaw in place while it healed, and was on a specialised liquid diet .

At the home, she received the pain relief, medical care and love she needed. Now, she's found her forever home and is settling in.

This comes at we mark Giving Tuesday, with supports of the home able to make an 'even greater impact' and help those like Summer.
