It’s finally here. Chicago Bears hate week has arrived, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. This will be the latest the first game in the yearly series has been since 1998, when the series opened up at Lambeau on December 13 with a 26-20 Green Bay Packers win. Why is that relevant? Well, after the Packers’ decisive victory over the Lions on Thanksgiving Day, and the Bears’ subsequent deconstruction of the Eagles’ defense on Black Friday, the two teams are right in the thick of things for the NFC’s #1 seed, and with it, the NFC North crown. Not since December 29, 2013, has this rivalry produced a game with real stakes for both sides.
4th and 8. The last time this rivalry had any juice. The last time Bears fans walked into a game vs. the Packers feeling anything but dread and shame. From 4th
