Tuesday night brings us the beginning of Big Ten play and first up is a matchup of unbeatens. The undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes head to the Breslin Center to take on the undefeated Michigan State Spartans.

The Spartans have looked impressive to start the year as they have won their first seven games and already own ranked wins over Kentucky and North Carolina. Both of those wins came by double digits.

The Hawkeyes are also unbeaten as they have won their first seven games, but their resume isn't quite as impressive. They do own a win over Xavier, but they have yet to play a ranked team. That all changes on Tuesday night.

They have put the clamps on each of their first seven opponents and will be looking to do the same to the Hawkeyes.

The Hawkeyes have been just as good on defense as they have given up 70 points just once. Their competition hasn't been as tough, though, and they are going to have to be even better on Tuesday if they want to upset the Spartans.

They will be tough of the Spartans, but it isn't going to be enough to slow them down. The Spartans stay hot and get a win in their Big Ten opener.
