Cops are investigating an assault after three asylum seekers were attacked over the weekend. ‌

The incident occurred on Aghfarrell Road in Brittas, County Dublin, at around 2:30pm on Sunday, November 30. The three men were brought to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, reports Dublin Live. ‌

The victims, men aged in their teens, 20s and 30s, were reportedly badly beaten and left bloodied in the terrifying incident. Police have confirmed that they are investigating an assault and criminal damage incident after a car window was also smashed during the incident. ‌

Officers say that investigations are ongoing. One of the victims said they were “followed” by two men on motorbikes after stopping off to get petrol
