Centre Stage’s holiday play this year may be tailor-made for audiences who love Christmas stories but are pressed for time.
“Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some),” running Dec. 4-21, spotlights no fewer than seven much-loved Yuletide tales — all at the same time.
Director Laura Rikard describes the play as a hilarious mashup, a romp through such favorites as “A Christmas Carol,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “It’s a Wonderful Life,” among others.
Those stories are delivered by three actors in the high-energy two-act play with madcap humor, spirited improvisation and an abundance of stage antics.
