Apple TV has unveiled a rare Black Friday offer, slashing its subscription fee by half. For a limited period, new and eligible returning subscribers can enjoy Apple TV for £4.99 per month for six months.

That's a 50% price cut from the standard £9.99 monthly rate, granting full access to series such as Slow Horses, Severance, Ted Lasso and The Studio, all while saving £30. However, there's a countdown on the deal.

In a rarely seen deal, the offer isn't expected to last long. Initially, the offer had an expiry date of December 1, but hours after the deadline, it's still live on the Apple TV site for consumers to buy, for now.
