COLUMBUS, Ohio — Several courts in Franklin County are closed on Tuesday because of the snow.

The following courts are closed:

Franklin County Municipal Court

Franklin County Domestic Relations and Juvenile Court

Franklin County Common Pleas Court

Franklin County Probate Court

Major school districts across central Ohio, including Columbus City Schools, are also closed because of the winter weather impacting road conditions.

Snow arrived overnight and continued into the morning hours. Most of central Ohio was expected to see 2 to 4 inches by 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Several counties are under a Snow Emergency, varying from Level 1 to Level 3. For counties under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, roads are closed to non-emergency personnel.
