KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Several lanes of highway were closed after an ambulance was involved in a collision in Kansas City’s Northland Saturday night.
The ambulance was responding to a call around 7 p.m. in the northbound lanes of US 169 Highway near Highway 152. It had pulled over behind a vehicle when it was hit by a tractor-trailer, according to Battalion Chief Riley Nolan with the Kansas City Fire Department.

The tractor-trailer then crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes of US 169 Highway.
