LUDINGTON, MI – This spectacular Northern Michigan biergarten transforms into winter wonderland during a charity event that spreads Christmas cheer.
Visitors can stroll past dozens of creatively decorated and lighted Christmas trees during the Festival of Trees at the Stix Bar biergarten, near Ludington.
The third annual Festival of Trees opens at noon on Friday. It will be open during Stix business hours through Sunday, Dec. 14. There will be up to 50 trees along with other decorations. Entry is free; vote for your favorite tree for $1.
The event is organized by and benefits the United Way of Mason County with help from the local businesses and community groups that decorate the trees, which are donated by Nickelson’s Christmas Trees, of Ludington.
