DES MOINES, Iowa —
We are waking up to another chilly morning, but we do have a chance for some areas to experience freezing fog.
Interactive Radar | Weather Alerts | Skycams
With some melting that occurred over the last 24 hours and the cold/calm conditions in place, some fog can deposit ice on untreated surfaces this morning. As of 4 a.m., the most likely areas will be in northern and northwestern Iowa. Once the sun rises, we will warm up to what is expected to be a relatively nice day. Highs will be in the 20s and low 30s with a weak south wind.
Clouds will thicken up overnight as a cold front approaches for Wednesday. This will lead to a low end snow chance which could lead to a dusting over parts of the state through Wednesday morning. There could be some slick spots to watch
