The Repair Shop's guitar specialist, Julyan Wallis, has announced he's taking time off over Christmas and New Year. The BBC favourite used his social media platforms to inform his followers about the break.

He posted: "I will be closed over the festive season from December 13th and back on January 2nd/5th onwards. Contact for that last-minute setup, mod, fret job, structural stuff asap!"

The craftsman also posted an image alongside the message: "Alert! Cornwall guitar repairs at The Guitar Doctor! Closed from December 13th over Christmas."

Fellow presenter Sonnaz Nooranvary was among the first to reply, writing: "That's my kind of break, Jules. Have a great Christmas and New Year!"
