Julyan Wallis, the guitar specialist on The Repair Shop , has announced he'll be taking time off over the festive period. The BBC favourite informed his followers via social media about his upcoming break.

He posted: "I will be closed over the festive season from December 13th and back on January 2nd/5th onwards. Contact for that last-minute setup, mod, fret job, structural stuff asap!"

The craftsman also uploaded a photograph alongside the message: "Alert! Cornwall guitar repairs at The Guitar Doctor! Closed from December 13th over Christmas ."
