The New York State Gaming Facility Location Board has selected three casino proposals, Bally's Bronx, Hard Rock Metropolitan Park, and Resorts World New York City, to apply for commercial gaming licenses in the New York City area, which are expected to generate $1.5 billion in immediate licensing fees and roughly $1 billion in yearly tax revenue by 2036.
