STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Authorities allege a 46-year-old man sold cocaine to an undercover NYPD officer in Tompkinsville.
Haywood Hayes of Richmond Terrace in St. George was arrested on Nov. 14 for allegedly exchanging a capsule of cocaine for cash, according to a criminal complaint. The complaint is based on an investigation by Narcotics Borough Staten Island.
The criminal complaint alleges that police recovered a capsule containing crack cocaine from Hayes’ pocket.
Hayes has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to the criminal complaint.
