SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WFSB) - A South Windsor man was arrested Monday after police say he touched a woman inappropriately and wouldn’t let her leave while she was going door-to-door for work.
Police say the incident happened around 4:22 p.m. on Dec. 1.
The woman reported that she was at a residence for her job when the alleged assault occurred.
The suspect, Charlie Phan, 64, was taken into custody and charged with sexual assault, unlawful restraint, and disorderly conduct.
He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Dec. 17 at 9 a.m.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
