Levi Harper posted four assists over three games for the Saginaw Spirit, earning the OHL Rookie of the Week honor.
Harper had two assists in a 5-4 loss to the Flint Firebirds, with another Friday in Saginaw’s 4-2 win over London. He finished with another assist in Saturday’s 8-5 loss to London.
Harper, 17, leads OHL rookie defensemen with 24 points in 27 games, scoring six goals with 18 assists. Saginaw picked the 17-year-old from Tampa, Florida in the third round of the 2025 OHL Daft.
Harper, who has committed to the University of Michigan, is the second Saginaw Spirit rookie to earn the award, with Nikita Klepov honored for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 5.
