New research has suggested that a weight-loss jab already prescribed to thousands of patients on the NHS could also reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s. Liraglutide, sold as Saxenda, is offered to people with a BMI over 30 to improve blood sugar control and help with weight loss .
