Amy Schumer is hoping for the best.

Amid speculation over her marriage to Chris Fischer , the comedian addressed where she and her husband of seven years stand.

“Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris,” Amy—who has been candid about her husband’s autism diagnosis —wrote in a Dec. 1 Instagram message , “has nothing to do with weight loss or autism.”

The Trainwreck star—who is mom to 6-year-old son Gene with Chris—added, “Fingers crossed we make it through he’s the best.”

Amy’s comments about her marriage come after fans noticed she wasn’t wearing her wedding ring in recent posts to Instagram , spurring online speculation.
