NEW JERSEY (WABC) -- The storm swept through the Tri-State area, leaving roads and sidewalks coated with slushy snow north and west of the city, and creating plenty of work for local crews and residents alike.

Some schools in New York and New Jersey closed or delayed opening as snow and rain made conditions slippery.
