PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A person has died after being hit by a car in south Phoenix early Tuesday morning.
Phoenix Police responded to the reported pedestrian crash around 6 a.m. near 32nd Street and Broadway Road .
The person’s body was still at the scene as Arizona’s Family crews arrived.
Officers at the scene said a white SUV struck the pedestrian, who was not in a marked crosswalk, then the SUV was hit by a sedan. Both drivers remained at the scene, police said.
Broadway is closed in both directions from 32nd Street to 30th Street as authorities work to clear the crash.
